High pressure air plunger review

Clogged drains are the worst!

TL;DR

Great product. Totally worth the price and worked really well! Saved me an expensive plumber visit!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

Water was coming out and flooding my kitchen floor. The angle to access the drain was weird because of an installed bin (which I know should be able to remove but I just couldn’t do it!) and from the looks of it, using a normal plunger wouldn’t clear this problem.

I had the Gong100 drain cleaner powder but pouring more water seem like adding to the problem. (You have to pour hot water for the powder to foam and clean).

My neighbour recommended that I get a air pressure plunger to blast the blockage through and if that didn’t work, I would have to call a plumber.

I asked around and a plumber visit would be from $150 onwards.

So I bought this high pressure air plunger from Shopee for $17.99 on Monday 9.11pm and received it on Wednesday 3.23pm.

How to use this air pressure plunger

  1. Put on the foot pad part, then step on its sides and keep pumping to get the PSI up

  2. Change the head for what you need to unclog (careful not to touch the trigger!)

  3. Aim, then pull the trigger to blast the blockage away!

It comes with different heads to clear different areas:

TIP: There’s no instructions on what pressure to use so I went with 100 PSI as my pipe was pretty choked up,

There was a little splash up onto the face and body but to be honest it wasn’t a mess and you could simply wipe down to clean up.

The pipe was instantly cleared and you could see right through. Whatever was blocking it was blasted through and the water drained away quickly.

TIP: I received advice that you should not use this unless you have a blockage, as the pressurised air may damage your PVC pipe. NOT FOR DAILY OR MAINTENANCE USAGE.
